Pebble are now focussing on Colour Blindness in website design

Currently, 8% of the male populate and 0.4% of the female population suffer from some form of colour blindness, whether it is Deuteranopia, Protanope or Tritanopia. This is a lot of people that may not be able to view your website. What can we do about this? At Pebble this is something we are focussing on right now.

While we do not make the ultimate decision on how a client wants their website designed we can certainly take the first step and show them how their website appears to individuals who suffer from colour blindness. We started this off with the last website we built for one of our customers - David Fox Plastering. You can see below the results.

Tritanope (A Blue/Yellow deficit - Very Rare condition)

If you see this logo on one of our websites, you can be sure it has been checked and can be viewed with all the above conditions.
