How much does an App cost?
This all depends on what you want your App to do and we are more than happy to provide a quote free of charge.

What are the running costs when having an App
Very similar to websites, there is a nominal hosting fee. This is an annual fee. Additional work carried out on an App is charged at our standard hourly rate.

What are the real benefits to having an App?
Apps are a great idea if you are looking at an additional marketing stream or require users to be able to engage with you at the touch of a button. As an example, Pebble can launch your App on the iTunes store and that gets immediate visibility to over 10 million a month. You cannot do this with a website without spending thousands of pounds on SEO alone.

I have seen online App Builders – why not use them?
Some of these free App builders are good and can deliver what you may need but they are templated so it may not be exactly how you want your App to look and operate, also, you do not own the App and cannot evolve and scale your App how you may want to in the future. You are also tied into a monthly contract which is not ideal.

Can I charge for my App?
If you think your App is worthy of a charge then yes, this is perfectly acceptable and something we can speak to you about. There is also the possibility of making your App free of charge and utilising advertising opportunities inside your App as a revenue stream.

VAT / Sales Tax Calculator

We recently built a simple VAT / Sales Tax Calculator APP which we subsequently deployed through the Apple App Store The VAT Calculator APP allows you to enter an amount, set the tax rate and will calculate your VAT amount. This App is very simple and demonstrates the opportunity to market a simple solution to a mass amount of people.
