1) When your website is going live or for websites that are currently live right now, submit your sitemap to Google’s Webmaster Tools and Bing’s Webmaster Tools. This will make sure that Search Engines know you are there and they can come and crawl your website.

2) Search Engine spiders are similar to humans, when they land on your website make sure that actual thing you do or sell is prominent and appears at the top of the page. As well as this, and if applicable, add a phone number or a clear contact call to action.

Remember to analyse your search traffic and page bounce rates to see potential user experience problems.
