Students at Milton Keynes College are set to enter into a beautiful relationship with a nearby spa.
The college is teaming up with health and beauty experts at The Day Spa at Whittlebury Hall. The launch of the new partnership was celebrated at an event on May 8 where it was explained how students will reap huge benefits in terms of gaining knowledge and experience at the leading end of the industry. The Day Spa was named Best in the Midlands at The Good Spa Guide Awards 2012 and this is the first time the spa side of the business has forged this kind of relationship with a college.

Fashion retailers link up with college
Students interested in careers in fashion or retail can talk one-on-one with staff from some of the biggest retailers from the UK and abroad during events held at their college. Midsummer Place Shopping Centre, in Milton Keynes, has launched a new partnership with Milton Keynes College to hold monthly “Midsummer Presents…” events at the Chaffron Way Campus. A new archery club has been granted a licence by Milton Keynes Parks Trust to use Hazeley Woods.
Field archery is a family sport. It differs from target archery in that it follows a course through woods, shooting at targets of varying distances. Chairman Mike Collins said: “This is the first field archery club in Milton Keynes.
