Getting inside the head of a potential customer is hard at the best of times so it's important to focus on this and there is now so much data available it has gotten a step closer to you.

As you can see, Google is answering this for us. Channels on the far left play an early and assisting role in a call or sale, whilst channels on the right are the final interactions before they buy or call.
