Our Hosting Technology

Platform

Our infrastructure is designed to be highly redundant; all data is stored in network disk arrays and automatically synchronised between the arrays. This means that in the vent of an array failing, the remaining array continues to provide data to the servers with no interruptions or downtime.

We then go a step further; each array is also backed up every night to a completely separate backup cluster, which is written to tape and stored offsite.

Data Centre

Our data centres utilise uninterruptable power supplies with an n+1 generator setup to ensure continuous and clean energy to our servers. The data centre is then protected by fire suppression systems, continuously monitored by CCTV both externally and internally with 24x7x365 security and an 8ft perimeter fence.

Security

We are automatically informed of new security patches through our vendor and patches are applied within 24 hours. Our entire system gets scanned each month for any application vulnerabilities and we use a sophisticated netork scanner that allows us to identify weaknesses in our network.
